Greenlink, Wales and Ireland

Our engineers carried out the butt fusion welding of approx. 4km of polyethylene cable ducting that was used as sea out fall pipe work for the interconnecting cables that linked substations in Pembrokeshire, Wales and County Wexford, Ireland. The project had a total of 23 Km of cable link that has the capacity to deliver 500MW of electricity.

Emergency Sea Outfall, Kuwait

Thermofuse Pipelines Ltd welded a 2.4m diameter polyethylene sea out fall pipe in Kuwait that was part of a 6.2Km long emergency sea outfall, the longest and largest in the middle east.

Vyrnwy Large Diameter Trunk Main

TPL welded a new 1068mm PE water main to reline the existing cast pipe to improve water quality.

Hornsea Off Shore Windfarm

We successfully welded over 20,000m of electrical cable ducting for the installation of new HV cabling on, what will be, the world’s largest single offshore wind farm.
